We head to Beamish Open Air Museum where life in the North is vividly recreated in the early 1800s and 1900s. See the Town and Pit Village take on a festive feel with period decorations, plus traditional entertainment, Father Christmas in his cosy fireside grotto and a real outdoor ice rink
