Winnock Hotel, Drymen
The Winnock Hotel surrounds the pretty village-green and is nestled in the centre of Drymen, on the east side of Loch Lomond. It is superbly situated for everyone to enjoy exploring the byways, lochs and beautiful rustic countryside. A warm and friendly welcome awaits you at the Winnock, which has recently been refurbished and modernised to provide all the amenities and comfort required by visitors whilst still retaining the 18th century character of the original Coaching Inn. All bedrooms have been sympathetically decorated and individually furnished in pleasing tones and fabrics. Whilst there is no lift at this hotel, all rooms are situated either on the ground or the first floor.

Excursions
A relaxing drive around the Dumbartonshire Countryside, through the likes of Bearsden and Milngavie, the starting point of many a hiker on the famous West Highland Way, down to the riverside, taking in lovely views across the Clyde, winding our way along the shores to Dumbarton.
Visit the “bonny, bonny banks of Loch Lomond” with our first stop being the picture postcard, lochside town of Luss, and the former location of the TV series ‘Take the High Road’.This afternoon we will enjoy a boat trip on the loch before returning back to Drymen for soup and Sandwiches.
Day trip to Inveraray, on the shores of Loch Fyne, it is one of Scotland’s most beautiful historic towns. In and around the town you will discover many great places to visit: Inveraray Castle - home of the Duke and Duchess of Argyll; Inveraray Maritime Museum:The Bell Tower and of course, Inveraray Jail.
