The fantastic resort of Roses has a lovely setting on the Gulf of Roses and its sweeping 4km stretch of sandy beaches. Roses history dates back to 8th Century BC, when settlers arrived here from ancient Greece, and today the charming old town still lies beneath its medieval fortress walls. In the old town there are plenty of Tapas bars where you can enjoy a glass of wine straight from the barrels. The beach is backed by a glorious promenade and there’s no shortage of shops of restaurants to enjoy. |
Goya Park Hotel, Roses
A short stroll from the beach and set in lush gardens, this hotel has a lovely swimming pool and terrace, where activities include table tennis, mini-golf and pentanque. Inside there’s a spacious bar/lounge to relax in and enjoy the eveing entertianment. All bedrooms are simply furnished with balcony, fan and satellite tv.
