Of all the variety of Highland landforms, the mountain profiles of Skye create the strongest sense of awe, and they have drawn visitors to the Island since the days of Sir Walter Scott and JMW Turner.

Kings Arms Hotel, Kyleakin
Located in Kyleakin - ‘Gateway to Skye’ - the Kings Arms offers panoramic views across the beautiful Kyle of Lochalsh to the mainland.The hotel has a spacious bar, lovely restaurant and all of the bedrooms feature private facilities, television and tea and coffee making facilities.

This hotel has no lift, but first floor rooms are available.

Excursions

Morning visit to Portree, thereafter the Trotternish penisula, with its awe inspiring scenery including the spectacular Old Man of Stor and the Kilt Rock formations.

Visit to Dunvegan Castle, seat of the Clan Macleod, followed by a visit to Talisker Distillery.

The Sleat peninsula locally known as the “Gardens of Skye”! Passing through Isleorinsay with its spectular views over the Sound of Sleat, before arriving at the Clan Donald Centre at Armadale. Afternoon at leisure.
