| One of Grantown's eagerly awaited highlights of the year, is the Hogmanay Party in the square! Celebrate the New Year in great style with one of the largest Hogmanay crowds in the highlands. From 11pm until 1am enjoy music, dancing, haggis and mulled wine, watch the millennium beacon and the midnight flares. Furthermore every year they make an attempt to beat the Srip the Willow world record! |
Craiglynne Hotel, Grantown on Spey
This beautiful victorian granite building, with views over to the majestic Cairngorms has been restored and refurbished to the highest standards.
The Craiglynne has 82 rooms all of which have been
elegantly redesigned with contemporary, natural décor.
All rooms have private bathrooms with television, tea
& coffee making facilities, complimentary toiletries,
hairdryers and room service.

Itinerary
Day 1 – Depart Aberdeen at 10.00 and continue to Grantown on Spey via Fochabers for soup and sandwiches.
Join your fellow guests for hot punch & canapés before a delicious dinner followed by entertainment.
Day 2 – We end the year with scenic excursion to Aviemore and the Cairngorm mountain range.
A sparkling wine reception preceeds our 5 course Dinner of the very best traditional fayre. Everyone must have some tartan in thier attire, there will be a special prize for the most original use of this fine cloth.
After dinner the Entertainment and dancing will commence into the New Year or you may wish to attend the street party.
Day 3 – Happy new Year! No need to rise early as a buck fizz brunch will be served between 10am and 12pm. This afternoon we will head out a short afternoon scenic drive.
Dinner this evening will be followed by entertainment.
Day 4 – Depart the Hotel after breakfast and head back to
Aberdeen for approximately 1600hrs
